L’Oréal and Light BioScience Sign Agreement
Paris-based L’Oréal and Light BioScience, Virginia Beach, Virginia, signed a scientific collaboration agreement to develop skincare devices using Light BioScience’s proprietary skin rejuvenation technology. The agreement also provides for future worldwide marketing by L’Oréal of professional devices already developed by Light BioScience. Expanded Roles for Leaders at La Roche-Posay
In January 2008, La Roche-Posay announced the promotions of two key members of its U.S. operations team. Yannick Raynaud assumed the role of vice president/general manager and Gene Colón was promoted to assistant vice president of medical and media relations. In her new role, Raynaud will lead both the marketing and sales organizations for the brand. She has been a part of the L’Oréal team for nine years, with time spent working on the Maybelline brand in Venezuela and Brazil, and the hair color and skincare divisions of Garnier Brazil before joining the La Roche-Posay team in France. Colón came to L’Oréal in 1994 via the acquisition of Biomedic, and during his tenure has amassed substantial experience in fostering strong relationships with key opinion leaders in the dermatology and plastic surgery specialties.
